Plot : Australia is a western adventure war drama, set in Australia just before WWII and is directed by Baz Luhrmann. The story revolves around Lady Sarah Ashley (Nichole Kidman), an English aristocrat who inherits a vast farmland after her husband is murdered. Sarah soon learns that the local administrator, Neil Fletcher is behind her husbands killing and now his eyes are set on the property and the cattle. To save her property, Sarah reluctantly makes a deal with a stock man and joins forces with a rough-hewn cattle driver named Drover (Hugh Jackman). As they all try to herd 2,000 head of cattle across the most treacherous lend of Australia, they have firsthand experience of the bombing of Darwin by the Japanese forces.
